About Us

Our offices in BouchervilleLa Jolie Tuile is a story that begins in 1980, when four business associates, Réjean Beaudoin, Daniel Bruneau, Daniel Castonguay and Paulin Castonguay, open the first location in Boucherville. The following year, La Jolie Tuile opens another location in Laval, in the Duvernay neighborhood.

In 1982, Daniel Bruneau buys back the shares and focuses business development in Boucherville. A few changes will follow: new products like carpeting and linoleum will become available to customers, and a contractor-oriented department opens.

Our showroomIn 1989, La Jolie Tuile moves its showroom on the De Montbrun street in a new commercial strip to ease future development. The company will stay there 6 years, and will then move its offices into that same strip, on Chemin du Lac.

In 1997, major renovations are done: La Jolie Tuile, on the Chemin du Lac building, rents an additional office and proceeds to expand its showroom, rethink the stockroom and add additional office space. Furthermore, the office expansion allows La Jolie Tuile to follow more closely its clients needs by offering wooden flooring.

An outlook of our wide selectionIn 2006, Alexandre Desjardins and Serge Champagne jump in. After several years of working for La Jolie Tuile, the owner offers them to take over ownership, something both had been secretly wishing for a while. In march of the same year, Chrystine Lacasse joins the leadership team and the company is renamed La Jolie Tuile et associés.

The company differentiates itself from the competition with its personalized customer service, the variety and quality of its products, as well as the advice their designer can provide to clients. M. Champagne works at clients installing the products, while M. Desjardins manages the store and showroom.
